Kotame is a project I’ve been collaborating on with a team of seven other members. For my contribution, I rigged and animated the characters with 3D Studio Max, composed three pieces of music with FL Studio, and produced UVs with the aforementioned 3D software.
Kotame has some great art behind it, but the gameplay has its problems. During its development, I learned that trying to create a stealth game is challenging and design by committee isn’t a particularly effective practice. The floor was open for everyone to make suggestions and guide the direction of the game from the onset, but that decision led to us having too many hands in the pot and our design suffered as a result.
