What I would consider my first “real” game, Eruption of Destruction was developed back in high school when I was starting to practice animation. I used Adobe Flash for the project and made everything except for the audio: all art assets, animations, and programming are of my own design.
The player’s objective is to collect coins and avoid fireballs that are falling from the sky. I put a lot of work into it—my pride and joy at the time of its completion—but today I can spot plenty of the game’s flaws. Its development was a great learning experience, though, and it’ll always bring back fond memories.
